Service Policies
Pricing Policy
While quotes provided by Poop Scoop Butler are typically accurate, the final price will be confirmed after the size of the property, number of dogs and cleanup frequency is determined. We will communicate any price adjustments before starting services.
For services paused for more than 30 days, a re-start may incur additional fees before resuming the monthly service plan.
Payment Policy
- Recurring and One-Time Cleanups: Payment is due before service.
- Monthly Service: For monthly customers following an initial cleanup, billing occurs for the remaining month.
- Late or Non-Payment: If payment is not received on time, services will be paused until payment is submitted.
Our monthly fee covers a 52-week calendar averaged over 12 months, so no extra charges apply for months with five weeks.
Winter Policy
Poop Scoop Butler operates year-round in all safe weather conditions. If a week is skipped due to weather, we’ll conduct a double service the following week, maintaining full monthly charges.
No Access Policy
If we cannot access the yard due to a locked gate or other barrier, the full cleaning fee still applies. We’ll perform double service the next week. We will attempt to notify the customer via knock, text or call before leaving.
Dangerous Pet Policy
Though our technicians are mostly comfortable with dogs of all breed and sizes, we ask that you keep your dog(s) secured inside while we are in the yard. If a pet poses a danger and we are unable to clean the yard, the full charge applies, and we’ll conduct double service the following week. We’ll attempt to contact you before leaving.
Obstructions Affecting Waste Removal
We do our best to keep your yard clean, but we can only pick up what’s visible to us. If the yard is covered with leaves, snow, or other debris that hides the waste, we won’t be able to remove it during our visit. To help us provide the best service, we kindly ask that you keep the yard clear of obstructions like leaves or snow before your scheduled day. Don’t worry—on our next visit, we’ll make up for it by doing a thorough cleanup and taking care of any waste that was previously hidden!
Cancellation Procedure
To cancel, call, email or submit your request via the client portal at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. Cancellations are not final until any required forms are submitted and acknowledged by our team. No refunds are issued for prepaid months.
